« Jessie Pyne Brand is very much delighted with her book, the quotation she thinks hardly appropriate, as she feels she has lately been estremely cross, showing no “ pity ” and not quite that anger which can “ pithy sweeten wrath ” - she accepts the quotation however, as a friendly monitor, for such, she feels certain it was meant to be -». Aggiunge i ringraziamenti anche di una certa Giulia «for this brilliant memorial of your mind ».
